Your NUMBRS are somewhere in here.
Receipts in a drawer. Invoices in three inboxes. A spreadsheet nobody trusts. A letter from the CRA you have not opened yet. Most businesses start here. A lot of them stay.

Bank feeds, bills, payroll, tax filings. Nothing gets to sit in a pile, because the pile is where the surprises come from.
Reconciled every month. Coded the same way every time. Checked by a person who knows your business, not by a template.

Most of our clients run more than one company at once. An operating business or two, a holding company, a building, the odd side project. Everything we do starts there, from how we code one bill to how the Hub adds a whole group up into one number. We handle your NUMBRS. You handle your business.
You watched the short version at the top of the page. This is what each stage looks like in practice.
Noise
A first call about your companies, your systems and what you want to see each month. We start learning your business right away.
Gather
We review your current books and processes, connect QuickBooks, your bank feeds and a bills inbox, then agree on a plan and a timeline. Usually 7 to 10 business days.
Order
Every transaction recorded and reconciled, every month closed, and your financials posted to the Hub by the date we agreed.
Clear
Questions go both ways through the Hub. At tax time we hand clean books to your accountant and answer whatever they ask.
A small team of bookkeepers who like the technology side as much as the ledger side. We work remotely and in the cloud, so your books are current wherever we happen to be.

Founder and CEO
Nearly twenty years of bookkeeping and financial controllership. She founded NUMBRS so owners could understand the numbers behind their business, then built the Hub so they could see them without asking.
Bookkeeping Associate
Collects your financial data and turns it into accounts that make sense. The reason our clients stay organized.
Bookkeeping Associate
Weekly, monthly, quarterly and full-cycle bookkeeping, brought up to date quickly and accurately.
Chief Technical Officer
Runs the equipment, the back office and the security around your data, so the bookkeepers can work without interruption.
If you prepare year-end for owner-managed businesses, we are the bookkeepers you want underneath you. We keep the day-to-day books in QuickBooks Online, reconciled every month and coded the same way every time.
At year-end you get clean, reconciled files and yearly summaries, not a shoebox. We stay on hand to answer your questions while the return is being prepared.
We do not offer partial accounting or tax filing, so we are never competing for your client. We just make their file the easy one on your desk.
Book a callRemotely. Our work is cloud based, so we do not need a desk at your office and you do not pay for one. Everything you need to see is in the Hub, and everything you need to ask us goes through it too.
Usually 7 to 10 business days from the first call to a working setup. If your books are behind it takes longer, and we tell you the timeline once we have looked at them.
Yes. Add us as a user and we work in your file. If you are new to QuickBooks, we set the account up for you.
Yes. We import the history, rebuild the books and bring you current before the monthly rhythm starts.
No. Bank transactions come straight from your bank feed. Bills and receipts can be emailed to us or photographed from your phone through the Hub. Keep the paper originals on file, because the CRA can still ask for them.
A bookkeeper records and organizes your transactions and keeps your books current. An accountant interprets and reports on them, and handles your tax matters. You need both, and we work closely with yours.
No to both. We keep complete books and hand clean, reconciled statements to your accountant for tax filing, then answer their questions while the return is prepared. Partial accounting costs more and ends up less accurate, so we do not offer it.
Accrual, for almost everyone. Income is recorded in the period it was earned and expenses in the period they were incurred, whether or not the cash has moved yet. The Canada Revenue Agency only allows cash-based reporting for farmers, fishers and self-employed commission agents.
Yes. Email, phone, or a message in the Hub attached to the page you have a question about. Support is part of the service, not an add-on.
Bring them in whatever state they are in. That is usually where the useful conversation starts.
